Job summary

Walmart in Saint James, MO is seeking a Manager II, Process Engineer - Supply Chain to own critical process improvement initiatives within our Distribution Center. You’ll reduce losses and standardize best-in-class working methods using the Walmart Performance System (WPS), partnering with area leaders to turn data into action and build long-term capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 3 years’ experience in process improvement or related area.
• Proven ability to own projects resulting in sustainable savings.
• Strong analytical and office software skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement efforts using 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies.
• Analyze KPIs, drive loss elimination, and create standard work to reduce variation.
• Manage top-loss projects, identify savings opportunities, and support WPS integration.
• Collaborate with area managers to deploy WPS playbooks and improve processes.
• Coordinate activities, monitor progress, and promote continuous learning across the team.
