Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Manager II, Quality Engineer to lead quality-focused process improvements inside a Distribution Center using Walmart Performance System (WPS) methods. You’ll identify quality losses, reduce variation, and strengthen One Best Way execution through data-driven problem solving and standard work.

You’ll mentor associates, partner with department leaders on WPS programs, and develop KPI metrics and playbook deviations to sustain results across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 3 years’ experience in Quality or Process Improvement OR 5 years’ experience in Engineering or Process Improvement with Lean Six Sigma experience
• Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long term savings
• Microsoft Office Suite, analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Lead WPS tools (5S, RCA, Six Sigma, time/motion) to eliminate quality losses and deviations
• Compile and submit One Best Way playbook deviations; contribute to divisional replication opportunities
• Build quality loss profiles, KPI metrics, and gap analyses to guide priorities and WPS integration
• Deliver results through loss elimination and standard work that reduces process variation
• Hire, train, and mentor associates while supporting department leaders on WPS programs and projects
