Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Quality Engineer III to provide software testing, data collection and analysis, subject matter expertise, and mentorship supporting a large, multi-year IPPS-A Army Military Payroll program.

Hybrid work in Crystal City, VA with 2 in-office days; current compensation range is $105,000 to $152,000 annually. Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required; experience with ERP/test tooling is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years experience in federal government, DoD, Army, or IC or private sector preferred.
• Certifications in IAT Level II and SAFe for Teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews software requirements and specifications to develop and execute testing strategies for a product or release.
• Develops reusable test functions or components.
• Executes manual and potentially automated tests to assess software functionality and performance.
• Identifies, logs, and tracks defects.
• Reports technical issues to development or product management and verifies fixes.
• Possesses solid working knowledge of Quality Engineering processes.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a subordinate group.
