Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Functional Analyst III to join the software development team supporting a large, multi-year contract for IPPS-A Army Military Payroll. The role focuses on configuring PeopleSoft modules within an agile team to meet development objectives and collaborate across teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years federal or DoD experience, plus ERP familiarity (PeopleSoft/Workday).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector preferred.
PeopleSoft, Workday, or other ERP experience a plus.
Certifications in IAT Level II, Peoplesoft HCM, and SAFe for Teams preferred.

Responsibilities

Configure modules in PeopleSoft software to meet design specifications.
Provide estimates for work assignments.
Document software configurations in prescribed documentation tool(s).
Translate user and enabler stories and acceptance criteria into functional software design.
Conduct unit testing in line with defined quality engineering processes.
Conduct software development activities in support of application enhancements and system defects.
Conduct peer reviews on other teammates' configuration and code to ensure accuracy and alignment to overall architecture and design.
Explain software functionality to development team members and end users.
