Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Functional Analyst III to join the software development team supporting a large multi-year IPPS-A Army Payroll contract. You will configure PeopleSoft modules and work in an agile team to remove blockers and deliver value.

Preferred candidates have a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years federal/DoD experience, IAT II and SAFe for Teams certifications, and Proficiency in MS Office; U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector preferred.
• Certifications in IAT Level II, Peoplesoft HCM, and SAFe for Teams preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
• PeopleSoft, Workday, or other ERP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure modules in PeopleSoft software to meet design specifications.
• Provide estimates for work assignments.
• Document software configurations in prescribed documentation tool(s).
• Translate user and enabler stories and acceptance criteria into functional software design.
• Conduct unit testing in line with defined quality engineering processes.
• Conduct software development activities in support of application enhancements and system defects.
• Conduct peer reviews on other teammates' configuration and code to ensure accuracy and alignment to overall architecture and design.
• Explain software functionality to development team members and end users.
