Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Functional Analyst III to join the software development team supporting IPPS-A Army Military Payroll. The role focuses on configuring PeopleSoft modules within an agile team, translating stories into functional designs, and ensuring quality through testing.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years of federal experience, a current Secret clearance, and Arlington, VA location with 2 days on-site and hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of federal government/DoD/IC experience preferred.
• Certifications in IAT Level II, PeopleSoft HCM, and SAFe for Teams preferred; MS Office proficiency required.
• Current Secret clearance; U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Configure modules in PeopleSoft to meet design specifications.
• Provide estimates for work assignments.
• Document software configurations in prescribed documentation tools.
• Translate user and enabler stories and acceptance criteria into functional software design.
• Conduct unit testing in line with defined quality engineering processes.
• Explain software functionality to development team members and end users.
