We seek a Quality Control Technician to perform construction materials testing, inspections, and field documentation for concrete, earthwork, electrical, and environmental scopes of work. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in material sampling and testing, plus certifications including ACI Field Testing Technician Grade 1 and OSHA 10.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in material sampling, testing, and construction inspection.
• Reading and understanding construction plans, specs, submittals, RFIs and related documents.
• Ability to document inspections and testing accurately and clearly.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Inspect grading, forms, reinforcing steel placement, and embedded items prior to concrete placement.
• Perform fresh concrete testing: Temperature, Air content, Unit weight, Yield, Concrete cylinder sampling.
• Identify, store, and transport concrete strength specimens to the lab.
• Inspect concrete placement, finishing, and curing operations.
• Verify work against plans, specs, and project requirements.
• Maintain records of concrete testing and inspection activities.
• Observe grading and compaction of aggregates, soil, and sand bedding.
• Perform field testing such as gradation, moisture content, and sand cone density testing.
