Job summary

The Quality Control Manager will lead QC programs on heavy civil dam and lock electrical projects, ensuring conformance to contract requirements and project standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in QC on heavy civil work, with USACE exposure and CQCM certification preferred. Travel to sites and ongoing learning are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience in a Quality Control capacity.
• Experience with dam and lock electrical work is required.
• USACE experience is a plus.
• USACE CQCM certification or ability to obtain certification.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings.
• Verify materials meet submittals and specifications.
• Execute required testing procedures per contract documents and industry standards.
• Prepare professional correspondence for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor, document, and track QC documentation (daily reports, test/inspection reports).
• Review special inspections and material testing performed by third parties.
