Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager with heavy civil construction experience to lead the QC program on dam and lock electrical projects.

You will manage inspection and testing services to ensure work meets contract requirements and company standards. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in QC roles; USACE experience is a plus and CQCM certification or ability to obtain is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in heavy civil construction QC roles with dam/lock electrical work experience.
• USACE CQCM certification or ability to obtain, OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings.
• Verify materials meet approved submittals and specifications.
• Execute required testing procedures per contract documents and industry standards.
• Prepare professional correspondence for clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor, document, and track QC documentation including daily and testing reports.
• Review special inspections and material testing performed by third parties.
