Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager with heavy civil construction experience to lead QC programs on dam and lock electrical projects. You will implement and manage quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and project specifications.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in CM or engineering, 5+ years in QC, USACE familiarity, CQCM certification or ability to obtain it, and OSHA 30 preferred. Competitive compensation with benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience in a Quality Control capacity.
• Experience with dam and lock electrical work is required.
• USACE CQCM certification or ability to obtain certification.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures
• Ensure all work complies with contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings
• Verify materials incorporated into the project meet approved submittals and specifications
• Execute required testing procedures in accordance with contract documents and industry standards
• Prepare professional correspondence for clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
• Monitor, document, and track QC documentation, including daily reports, testing and inspection reports, and preparatory/initial meetings
• Review special inspections and material testing performed by third parties
