Hensel Phelps in Colorado Springs is seeking a Quality Control Manager to implement and manage the QC program in partnership with the project team. You will oversee multiple QC engineers across one or more projects and coordinate with PM and PS to resolve issues.

This safety-sensitive role requires a civil/structural background and strong communication, with experience using Excel templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture or construction management.
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience on large commercial construction projects.
• Valid Driver’s License; strong communication skills; experience with Excel, Prolog, Primavera and AutoCAD.

Responsabilités

• Lead the startup and implementation of the six-step quality control/safety process.
• Coordinate site‑specific quality program elements and QC documentation.
• Chair weekly QC meetings and develop preparatory meeting agendas.
• Review quality logs, inspection reports, and test schedules; ensure compliance with plans and codes.
• Interface with owner's QA and management on quality‑related issues.
