Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems in Colorado Springs seeks a QA/QC Supervisor to lead the QA/QC Project Team, coach inspectors, and ensure First-in Inspection reduces risk from fabrication and installation errors. You will actively audit the Project Specific Quality Control Plan and promote timely resolution of quality issues.

Qualifications include an Associate degree with 10 years in Quality Control, 8+ years in ASME B31 piping, AWS QC-1 SCWI/CWI certifications, and 3+ years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent with 10 years of experience.
• 8+ years in Quality Control focused on ASME B31 piping, industrial/construction.
• AWS QC-1 SCWI/CWI/ICC certs preferred.
• 3+ years leading direct reports.
• Ability to read and interpret ASME BPV Code and welding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts analysis, inspection, design, test, and integration to assure quality of products.
• Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance.
• Applies SPC methods to analyze data and evaluate processes.
• Coordinate with General Contractor's QA Manager for inspection planning and compliance.
• Provide project quality expectations to new inspectors and attend weekly project meetings.
• Review purchased products and advise on acceptance and future vendor selection.
• Document QA activities and prepare reports on results and improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of QA codes and industry standards.
