Job summary

Synergy is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for a government client. You will perform functional and integration tests against a server-based UI, interpret requirements, and develop test plans and cases to ensure product quality.

The right candidate will have 7+ years in QA, solid knowledge of SDLC and Agile, experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs, and the ability to lead junior QA analysts and document QA procedures. U.S.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in black box testing of web applications with UIs.
• Proven experience with functional, system, regression, and integration testing.
• Proven experience developing test cases from user stories.
• Ability to execute and read complex SQL queries.
• Ability to analyze a product for accurate Integration test scenarios.
• High-level analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Critical thinker with strong communication.
• Experience with test management tools.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in white box testing of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task under deadlines and report status.
• Ability to document QA procedures for the team.
• Ability to validate deployment of software releases.
• Experience in test planning, data planning, scheduling, and evaluation.
• Defect tracking in corporate systems.
• Security+ certification if needed.
• Work in cross-functional teams including New Development and Production Support.
