Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a group of social discovery companies shaping virtual intimacy. We’re seeking a Senior QA Engineer (Web) to ensure quality across business features, from handoff to production release, in a remote, full-time role.

You’ll review specs, write test plans, design cases, and collaborate with Product, Front-End, Back-End engineers, while focusing on cross-browser and API testing and test automation efforts.

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in QA methodology, test design, and the overall testing process.

Responsibilities

• Drive the quality assurance of business features from technical hand-off to production release.
• Review specifications, prepare test plans, and create comprehensive test cases and checklists before stabilization.
• Provide realistic estimates for testing tasks and meet deadlines.
• Conduct functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, and E2E API testing across modern browsers and viewports.
• Contribute to web test automation (nice to have).
• Document tests thoroughly and participate in peer reviews, including test code reviews for automation.
• Collaborate with Product, Front-End, Back-End engineers, and Architects throughout the development cycle.
• Support web production releases by validating builds, performing smoke/regression checks, and monitoring live errors and performance.
• Track and improve QA metrics, including escaped defect rate and test coverage.
