Job summary

We seek a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to perform functional and integration testing on server-based applications, interpreting requirements, and developing test plans to ensure quality across the SDLC.

The role includes mentoring junior QA analysts, crafting test cases, executing complex SQL queries, and collaborating with product teams to validate deployments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in black box manual testing of web applications with UIs.
• Proven experience with functional, system, regression, and integration testing.
• Proven experience developing test cases from user stories.
• Ability to execute and read complex SQL queries.
• Ability to analyze a product for accurate Integration test scenarios.
• High-level analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Critical thinker.
• Proven experience with test management tools.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in white box testing of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines and report status.

Responsibilities

• Expert Software Quality Assurance Analyst.
• Provides technical leadership to junior QA analysts.
• Expert with testing tools and methodologies.
• Meeting with designers to determine QA parameters.
• Defines test plan development guidelines and testing strategies.
• Plans and accomplishes goals with professional judgement.
• Reports to a program or project manager.
• Ensures successful deployment with minimal deficiencies.
• Responds to requests from design team and management.
