Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA Department at a USDA inspected pork facility. You will supervise QA staff, oversee HACCP and food safety programs, and ensure compliance with USDA-FSIS and customer specifications.

You will coordinate with a 3rd-party sanitation provider, drive continuous improvement, develop KPIs, and prepare for internal and external audits while maintaining a strong culture of safety and quality across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• HACCP certification preferred.
• SQF Practitioner certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of QA staff and oversee QA shift supervisors and labeling coordinator.
• Investigate customer quality complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and report customer complaints monthly to leadership.
• Coordinate with third-party sanitation provider and oversee sanitation activities.
• Develop and monitor KPIs related to food safety, quality, and compliance.
• Support SQF and third-party audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Communicate corrective actions and compliance status to leadership.
• Manage specifications and labeling to ensure USDA-FSIS, export, and customer compliance.
