Job summary

Candidates should have 5–8 years of QA experience in food processing, PCQI/HACCP certifications preferred, and

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in food science, biological sciences, or related curriculum (or equivalent).
• 5–8 years of quality assurance experience in a food/beverage facility.
• GFSI/SQF experience preferred; PCQI/HACCP/SQF Practitioner certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the quality department to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain audit readiness and robust environmental monitoring program.
• Oversee sanitation, pest control, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Investigate nonconformances, drive root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
• Review records and KPIs; partner with operations on capital projects supporting QA.
• Provide training on FSMA, regulatory compliance, and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with R&D on new/reformulated products and customer-related investigations.
