Job summary

Dev Technology Group is seeking a Senior Manual Tester to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions for federal clients. The role blends QA expertise with analytical problem-solving to ensure applications meet requirements and quality standards before release.

You will work with Product Owners, Analysts, and Developers to identify defects, validate functionality, and ensure reliable user experiences across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
• Experience testing web-based applications and enterprise software solutions.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Hands‑on experience with defect management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify testing gaps and risks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑starter with excellent problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
• Document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Validate application functionality, data accuracy, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate actively in Agile development processes.
• Support release testing and production validation activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.
