Job summary

Precise Software Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer / QA Tester to support an online case management system for a federal government client. This hybrid role blends software development, QA, and help desk activities in an Agile Scrum environment.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform end-to-end testing, manage Jira/Confluence documentation, and maintain strong communication with federal stakeholders while advancing automated testing and AI-assisted tooling to speed delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
2 years of software development or IT experience preferred.
Experience with testing practices including end-to-end and regression testing.

Responsibilities

Support full stack development efforts for the case management system.
Provide daily technical support and ticketing (e.g., ServiceNow).
Conduct end-to-end and regression testing across the web application.
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and manage the backlog in Jira.
Create and maintain testing documentation and status reports in Jira/Confluence.
Maintain professional relationship with federal client stakeholders through communication.
Identify opportunities to apply AI-assisted tools to improve speed and quality.
