Job summary

Dev Technology Group in Ashburn, Virginia, is seeking a Mid-Level Manual Tester to support federal software delivery. This role emphasizes functional testing, quality assurance, and ensuring applications meet business requirements before release.

You will partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to design test cases, execute functional, regression, and UAT tests, perform SQL data validation where applicable, and participate in Agile ceremonies to improve quality throughout

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software QA and manual testing experience.
• Experience testing web-based or enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and plans.
• Hands-on with Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify risks.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Self-starter with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
• Document, prioritize, and track defects to resolution.
• Validate functionality, data accuracy, and integrations.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and release testing.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and documentation.
• Support post-deployment validation activities.
