Job summary

Dev Technology Group seeks a Mid-Level Manual Tester to ensure quality for federal software solutions. This hybrid role requires 1–2 days onsite in Ashburn, VA, and US citizenship with ability to obtain required security clearance.

You will design and execute test plans, perform functional and regression tests, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and support release validation throughout Agile sprints and post-deployment checks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
• Experience testing web-based applications and enterprise software solutions.
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC lifecycle processes.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, scenarios, and plans.
• Hands-on with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify testing gaps and risks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing.
• Document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Validate application functionality, data accuracy, and integrations.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support release validation.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and documentation.
