Job summary
Dev Technology is seeking a Senior Manual Tester for a hybrid role in Ashburn, VA, supporting federal government projects. The position emphasizes ensuring software quality across multiple platforms, collaborating with product owners and developers, and performing comprehensive testing to meet business requirements and performance expectations.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
- Experience testing web-based applications and enterprise software solutions.
- Hands-on with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
Responsibilities
- Review requirements, user stories, and specs to understand behavior and acceptance criteria.
- Design, document, and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Execute SQL queries for data validation testing where applicable.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and standups.
- Maintain testing docs, defect logs, and quality metrics.
- Support release validation and post-deployment verification.
