Job summary

Fenagh Engineering and Testing is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Manager to lead all QA/QC activities for a major infrastructure project in New York City. This hands-on leader will ensure compliance with contract requirements, regulatory standards, owner specifications, and industry best practices across planning, construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• PE license required.
• ASQ CMQ/OE or CQE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
• Establish QA/QC procedures, inspection protocols, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead all quality activities from planning through closeout.
• Serve as primary contact for quality with owner, engineer, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across project teams.
• Oversee inspections and testing to verify compliance with contract documents and codes.
• Coordinate with third‑party testing labs and inspectors.
• Monitor compliance with NYC, NYS, federal, and agency requirements.
• Manage hold points, witness points, mockups, testing procedures, and commissioning.
