Job summary

Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists & Land Surveyors, DPC is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager for upcoming rail transit projects in NYC and beyond. The role is full-time, on-site in Forest Hills, NY, with opportunities to lead QA/QC reviews, audits, and process improvements.

You will work with Project Managers, Resident Engineers, and other Quality Managers to monitor performance, maintain records, and drive compliance across civil and structural disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience in construction inspections (civil/structural).
• QA/QC or Quality Management experience in construction; rail transit projects preferred.
• BS Degree in Engineering or related field preferred; HS Diploma/Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA reviews of submittals in accordance with project procedures and compliance.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Resident Engineers, and Quality Managers for performance monitoring and records maintenance.
• Create and maintain project audit schedule and perform all quality audits.
• Issue corrective actions and monitor compliance to identify areas for improvement in QA processes.
• Monitor QA/QC programs and provide training and awareness activities to support quality improvement.
• Attend and chair project quality meetings and assist with project management as needed.
