Qualifications

• Verify inspector qualifications, certification levels, and experience.
• Review daily work reports, AWP entries, quantities, and material records.
• Conduct field oversight, evaluate inspector performance, and identify training needs.
• Provide coaching and corrective actions; reassign when necessary.
• Maintain QA/QC plan aligned with NYSDOT procedures.

Responsabilités

• Before mobilization: verify inspector qualifications, certification levels, relevant experience, project requirements, and client approval.
• During assignments: review daily work reports, AWP entries, quantities, material acceptance records, and documentation completeness.
• Field oversight: visit active projects, evaluate inspector performance, identify training needs, and resolve concerns with the EIC or RE.
• Corrective actions: track client complaints, document deficiencies, provide coaching, and recommend reassignment when necessary.
• Contract compliance: maintain a QA/QC plan consistent with NYSDOT procedures.
