Job summary

Sistema Technologies is seeking a QA Lead to provide leadership for QA strategy, testing, and governance for a large-scale EHR SaaS implementation based in Austin, TX. The role focuses on data migration validation, ETL and end-to-end testing across clinical and administrative workflows.

You will coordinate with program leadership, vendors, and clinical SMEs, produce testing plans and metrics, and ensure regulatory and audit standards are met.

Qualifications

• 11+ years in QA/Test Lead or QA/Test Manager roles.
• 11+ years of hands-on data validation, data migration, and ETL testing.
• 11+ years of experience leading functional testing across EHR modules.
• 11+ years coordinating testing of interfaces, data feeds, and reporting impacts.
• 11+ years proficiency with Azure DevOps, ALM, or Jira.
• 11+ years of experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall QA strategy, planning, and execution for the EHR SaaS implementation.
• Develop and maintain QA governance, testing approach, schedules, and resource plans.
• Serve as the primary QA point of contact for program leadership, IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Provide regular reporting on testing status, risks, metrics, and defects to project management and stakeholders.
• Ensure defects and issues are tracked, prioritized, resolved, retested, and validated before deployment.
• Lead validation testing for data migration and conversion from legacy EHR and ancillary systems.
• Review and test ETL processes, data mapping documents, validation rules, and reconciliation reports.
• Coordinate testing of interfaces, inbound/outbound data feeds, and downstream reporting impacts.
• Lead functional testing across EHR modules, including clinical, scheduling, orders, medications, documentation, and billing.
• Validate end-to-end workflows across user roles, including clinicians, nurses, pharmacy, registration, and administrative staff.
• Execute and oversee system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support.
