Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior quality engineer to blend manual testing with automated framework development for a cybersecurity SaaS platform. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ship reliable releases and mentor the QA function.

The role emphasizes building automated tests for RESTful services, UI workflows, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, while leading defect analysis and quality improvements across scrum teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software quality assurance with test-case planning, defect triage, and prioritization.
• 5+ years with an API-based test automation framework such as REST Assured or Playwright.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, Go, or similar language, with Java preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain automated tests for RESTful web services across the SaaS product.
• Build and sustain functional UI-level automation covering product front-ends and key user workflows.
• Define test coverage, quality gates, and release-readiness criteria with engineering and product teams.
• Plan and run manual test cases for features not yet automated or for exploratory evaluation.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines and advocate a shift-left QA approach.
• Lead root-cause analysis on defects and recommend improvements to test infrastructure.
