Job summary

Atomic - Remote Jobs is seeking a senior QA engineer to own test strategy and automation for a fast-growing SaaS platform. You will build end-to-end journeys, a smoke suite on every build, and integration tests across services and AI features.

You will decide what to test, where to test, and how to measure readiness for releases. The role involves collaborating with delivery teams, testing APIs, web apps, and cloud components, while ensuring security and data protection best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality, test or software engineering with self-built automation
• Built test suites and wired them into CI and maintained by others
• Strong test code in Python or TypeScript across API, browser and pipeline

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy and automation
• Build end-to-end journeys and smoke suite for every build
• Provide release verdicts with pass/fail details and justification
• Collaborate with delivery teams to test features during development
• Test web app, services, APIs and external systems for reliability
• Develop and run AI feature test suites and guardrails
• Seed realistic test data and help find security vulnerabilities
