Job summary

IT Resources is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Automation to drive test automation across UI, API, and backend. You will design frameworks, lead automation strategy, and align testing with product goals.

This fully remote role offers collaboration with cross-functional teams in Agile environments, opportunities to advance quality standards, and a chance to influence CI/CD practices while delivering reliable software.

Qualifications

5+ years in Quality Assurance with strong test automation focus.
Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
Experience in Agile development environments.
Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with software development concepts, coding, and debugging.
Experience testing APIs and microservices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
Lead automation strategy and prioritize testing by risk and product goals.
Establish automation standards and best practices across teams.
Convert manual test cases into scalable automated solutions.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
Execute, monitor, and maintain automated regression and smoke test suites.
Investigate test failures and defects via root cause analysis.
Track, measure, and communicate quality metrics to stakeholders.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, and cross-functional partners to meet quality requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing efficiency and product quality.
