Job summary

B&A is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to support a federal government contract in Ashburn, VA. The role focuses on creating and executing test plans, performing system and integration testing, and developing automated tests.

You will work with Rest Assured, Selenium, Postman, TestNG and a BDD framework, using Java and JavaScript to verify complex systems and ensure quality deliverables for the client.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience writing and maintaining test scripts and test plans.
• 5 years of experience in writing and executing unit tests and test cases.
• 5 years of experience in performing thorough functional, integration, and regression testing of complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans and test cases.
• Engage in systems testing, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Review and document functional requirements with team lead and develop estimates.
• Develop automated test scripts using tools Rest Assured, Selenium and Post man using TestNG and BDD framework.
• Hands on in Core Java and Java script.
• Log and retest defects found and produce test results.
