Job summary

Cloud for Good is seeking a Senior QA & DevOps Consultant in the USA to join a collaborative client-service team. You will test Salesforce features as part of a cross-functional group, creating test plans and test cases with declarative specialists, developers, and project managers.

This role focuses on executive quality reviews, supporting remote teams, and implementing QA best practices. You will also engage in performance, accessibility, and security testing, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
  • 2+ years experience in Public Sector.
  • Experience with web-based, cloud services and application development solutions.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies and software testing best practices.
  • Agile methodology experience.
  • Basic understanding of DevOps best practices, deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling (Gearset preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, client facing.
  • Experience in client services company.
  • Experience in test plan and script creation and implementation.
  • Experience with full-cycle testing of Web interfaces and platforms, functionality, and integration testing.
  • Experience with Agile tooling (ie Atlassian’s JIRA, Azure or Copado).

Responsibilities

  • Support internal Cloud for Good and external client teams in test development and execution of system, integration, functional and end-to-end testing for the client’s Salesforce-based application.
  • Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Demos and working sessions.
  • Review client requirements and provide feedback.
  • Investigate incoming issues by reproducing reported issues and investigating bugs.
  • Find, isolate, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
  • Review user interfaces for conformity, accessibility compliance, and functionality.
  • Responsible for creating test plans and test cases.
  • Executes functional, regression, acceptance tests and exploratory testing using both manual and automated test execution.
  • Executes the creation and maintenance of test data and test documentation.
  • Ensure user stories comply with acceptance criteria, while monitoring adherence to quality standards in development and implementation.
  • Facilitate communication between development teams and client’s QA with respect to quality issues and deliverables.
  • Perform performance testing using tools such as JMeter.
  • Perform accessibility testing in accordance with WCAG guidelines, including screen reader compatibility.
  • Perform security testing, including DAST and SAST scans.

The SeniorQA & DevOps Consultantwill be an instrumental member of the project teamtesting Salesforce software features as part of a collaborative team andassistingwith support requests. This roleis responsible forexecutive quality review of our clients’ Salesforce implementations.
