Job summary

Cloud for Good is a fully remote Salesforce consulting firm seeking an experienced project leader to manage state and local government Salesforce implementations. You will partner with clients to elicit requirements, craft design documentation, and guide projects from kickoff to delivery.

You will oversee budgets, timelines, and scope, mentor junior consultants, and stay current with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience consulting on Salesforce implementations (3+ years preferred; agile methodology experience preferred).
• Strong consulting skills including project and time management, communication, and teamwork/collaboration.
• Understanding of common business processes for State and Local Government Organizations.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise projects larger than $1 million.
• Experience running fixed-fee (fixed-price) projects including scope management, budget tracking, and change control.
• Scrum certification or relevant experience preferred.
• Proven track record of continuously improving organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience required.
• Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and project manage Salesforce implementation projects.
• Partner with clients to develop long-term solutions, assess client business requirements, and create requirements and design documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
• Lead implementation solutions in multiple Clouds and conduct proactive QA on the team’s solutions.
• Serve as first escalation point for clients; provide status updates; manage budget and scope; facilitate meetings; report on project status to leadership; monitor and mitigate risks.
• Optimize non-billable time to contribute to CFG Sales, Marketing, or Services delivery model.
• Provide informal mentorship and knowledge-sharing to less experienced consultants.
• Serve as an expert in CFG methodology and business process.
• Provide feedback to CFG leadership on improvements.
• Show a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Deliver project assignments on time and within budget.
• Contribute to the betterment of Cloud for Good.
