Job summary

Cloud for Good is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to serve as the lead technical resource on our Salesforce implementation team for state and local government clients.

You will design, build, and evaluate key components on the Salesforce Platform, including Sales, Service Clouds, and Public Sector Solutions. The role requires Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and OmniStudio expertise, with remote, home-based work in the USA.

Qualifications

  • Applied knowledge of Salesforce Sales, Services and Public Sector Solutions.
  • Minimum of two years of OmniStudio experience (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataMappers, Integrations).
  • Experience with SOQL/SQL/Oracle databases.
  • Experience with Git, Webstorm IDE, VS Code and/or SalesforceDX CLI.
  • Ability to develop reusable code-based solutions for Salesforce implementations.
  • Familiarity with best practices for scalable, multi-tenant Salesforce code.
  • Strong organizational and multi-project handling skills.
  • Understanding of agile methodology and collaborative development.
  • Experience delivering complex, scalable software to customers.
  • Ability to coordinate with global team members across time zones.

Senior Salesforce Developer – SLG in the USA

The Senior Salesforce Developer will be aleadtechnical resource on the Salesforce implementation team. They willbe responsible forevaluating, designing, and building key technical components on the Salesforce Platform forCloud for Good’sState and Local Governmentclients. Successful candidates will have expert technical knowledge of Salesforce.com Sales and Service Clouds, as well asSalesforce Public Sector Solutions. The Senior Salesforce Developer will code using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning,and may build custom solutions usingOmniStudio..

Location:Virtual Home-based office in the USA

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Applied knowledge of Salesforce and the Sales, Services, and Marketing functions;Public Sector experiencerequired;Nonprofit, financial,or higher education experiencea plus

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and verbal/written communication.
  • Should have capabilities for creating Pull Request using any deploymentTool (Gearset,Copado)

Main Responsibilities
  • Work on project implementation teams as the technical lead consultant for developing automation logic, user interfaces, and user experiences
  • Evaluate, design, and implement technical solutions forpublic sector,nonprofit, financial,and higher education clients
  • Write comprehensive test code coverage for all classes, triggers, and components delivered in a project
  • Deliver quality results for the client ina timelyfashion and be able to handle projects with multiple clients at once
  • Work hand–in–hand with the project manager and delivery team to ensure all the requirements are met
  • Deliver projects within scope and budget
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings
  • Be a thought leader within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Report on the status and risks of each project to the Director ofDevelopers& Quality
  • Regularlyparticipatein code review sessions to ensurecodeis adherent to CFG Code Standards
  • Maintain expert technical knowledge of Salesforce.com Sales and Service Clouds
