Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior test automation engineer to design and evolve automation for web and backend systems across multiple product streams. You will balance hands-on coding with framework ownership and advocate quality within continuous delivery pipelines.

You will design, build, and maintain tests, develop reusable libraries, and integrate API/backend automation into CI/CD while supporting performance testing and QA excellence.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in software test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with an object-oriented language (Java).
• Experience with Playwright for end-to-end browser testing.
• Familiarity with BrowserStack and cloud-based device/browser platforms.
• CI/CD tooling experience, ideally Jenkins.
• SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery quality.
• EU work permit or eligibility to work from EU.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated tests for web apps and backend services.
• Develop and improve test automation frameworks and reusable libraries.
• Plan and structure test scenarios aligned with feature requirements.
• Implement API and backend test automation and integrate into CI/CD.
• Execute and support performance testing as part of release readiness.
• Review and promote best practices across teams.
