Job summary

Lower is seeking a QA Engineer focused on test automation to scale quality across products and engineering teams. You’ll build automated tests, expand regression coverage, and maintain test suites to ensure new features are production-ready.

You’ll collaborate with QA, SDET, and software engineers to translate requirements into automated test coverage, participate in feature planning, and help integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in QA Engineering or QA Automation.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests for modern web apps.
• Hands-on with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar frameworks.
• Experience testing REST APIs with Postman or similar tools.
• Strong testing fundamentals: functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Translate product requirements into repeatable automated test coverage.
• Expand regression, smoke, integration, and release-validation suites.
• Create automated API tests and validate fixes across CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate failures and distinguish defects from environment issues.
