Job summary
RemoteFetch is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead hands-on quality engineering efforts for Retirement & Wealth products. You will design, develop, and evolve automated testing frameworks, migrating toward TypeScript and Playwright-based automation while reducing manual testing and accelerating delivery.
You will mentor QA colleagues, discuss framework design decisions, and partner with engineers to identify quality risks early in the SDLC, driving modernization of QA practices.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in Quality Engineering, SDET, test automation, or software engineering.
- Experience designing automation architecture, not just consuming frameworks.
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading automation initiatives.
- Strong experience in Agile software development environments.
- Experience supporting SaaS, cloud-based, or enterprise-scale applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, enhance, and maintain automated test frameworks.
- Develop automated UI, API, integration, and regression testing solutions.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and identify root causes.
- Review automation code and recommend architectural improvements.
- Coach and mentor QA team members on coding best practices and automation development.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers on testing strategies and automation architecture.
