Job summary

Upgrade, a leading fintech, seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to architect and build automation infrastructure. This remote US-based role focuses on agentic solutions to boost productivity and trust in testing.

You will design and deploy automation services, collaborate with product teams using Java, Python, Kubernetes, and modern tooling, and shepherd prototypes from concept to production with measurable quality improvements.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years building production software across test infrastructure and developer tooling.
• Proven track record building agentic testing solutions and automation frameworks.
• Hands-on with micro-services, Kubernetes, and deployment lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Design and own automation framework for functional and performance testing.
• Build agents to automate existing QA/testing workflows and reduce engineering friction.
• Build the applications and services that automation depends on, deploy them, and operate them in production environments.
• Iterate prototypes from demos to matured, monitored, high-quality solutions.
