Upgrade, Inc. seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to architect and build test automation infra for our fintech platform.

This fully remote role is open to US and Canada-based candidates, with a focus on scalable automation across microservices and Kubernetes. You'll design the automation framework, build agents to streamline QA workflows, and deploy production-ready services that improve engineering productivity and product quality.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years building production software with test infrastructure.
• Experience designing and implementing test frameworks and tooling.
• Proven ability to build agentic automation solutions from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of platform engineering and deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and own automation framework for functional and performance testing.
• Build agents to automate QA workflows and reduce engineering friction.
• Create services automation depends on, deploy to production, run in clusters.
• Deliver prototypes, collect feedback, iterate to mature, monitored quality.
• Identify gaps in existing tooling and drive improvements.
