County of Sonoma’s Human Services Department seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR team and shape the department’s people strategy. This role oversees compensation, recruitment, training, and labor relations while ensuring compliance with Civil Service Rules, relevant laws, and bargaining agreements.

The starting salary is up to $80.40 per hour ($167,804 per year) with a competitive total compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration.
• 4+ years in public sector HR or unionized environment.
• Experience supervising and leading managers.

Responsabilités

• Direct and oversee the department's HR program and initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning, policy interpretation, and compliance with regulations.
• Coach managers on HR practices and labor agreements; develop training materials.
