The position is based in Santa Rosa, CA, with starting salary up to 38.81/hour ($81,001/year) and a competitive total compensation package. Experience with financial systems and Excel is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience processing financial transactions in a high-volume environment
• Ability to accurately prepare, maintain, and reconcile financial transactions
• Experience providing customer service involving financial, tax, billing, or account-related matters
• Strong customer service skills with diverse clientele
• Experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or banking
• Experience extracting and analyzing data and creating reports using financial systems
• Strong Excel/Outlook/Word skills

Responsibilities

• Collecting and processing property tax and other payments received over the counter and through other channels
• Providing front-counter and telephone customer service, including answering a multi-line phone system
• Supporting Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) and Cannabis Tax programs
• Drafting and sending correspondence to customers
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Preparing and processing bank deposits
• Preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger; researching discrepancies
