Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Data & AI Technical Architect for the Global Public Sector to lead architectural strategy and implementation of Data 360 and Agentforce across defense, federal, state, local, higher education, and nonprofit customers.

You will translate mission and data ambitions into practical architectures, ensuring security, governance, and compliance while partnering with sales, solution teams, and delivery organizations to drive value and scale in complex environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical or enterprise architecture or related roles in complex environments.
• Track record of shaping technical strategy with customer input.
• Strong understanding of data, AI, integration, governance, security, privacy, and platform architecture.
• Experience across Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, and delivery teams.
• Ability to distill complex technical ideas for executives and technical audiences.
• Curiosity and rapid learning in AI, data, automation, and agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data and AI strategy discussions for public sector missions using Data 360 and Agentforce.
• Translate mission or business needs into practical architectures that meet security and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate feasibility, security posture, and cost-to-serve early.
• Create demos, prototypes, and reference architectures to accelerate adoption and scale in public sector.
• Develop reusable assets and contribute to product feedback and enablement.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and refining judgments.
