Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Data & AI Technical Architect for the Global Public Sector to evaluate, implement, and scale Data 360 (Data Cloud) and Agentforce for defense, government, higher education, and nonprofits.

You will design practical architectures that meet security and governance requirements, work with sales and delivery teams, and mentor the field with reusable assets while staying hands-on with data and AI platforms in a government context.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical or enterprise architecture roles in complex environments.
• Experience with defense, federal, state, local, higher education, or nonprofits preferred.
• Ability to translate mission needs into technology decisions.
• Strong understanding of data, AI, governance, and security concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; graduate study is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Share a clear point of view on data and AI for public sector missions and Salesforce value.
• Deeply understand Data 360 and Agentforce, articulating their value to stakeholders.
• Partner with sellers and solution teams to assess problems, strategy, and feasibility.
• Lead customer architectural discussions around Data 360, Agentforce, and governance.
• Build confidence with demos, prototypes, and architectural walkthroughs.
• Scan horizon and refine judgment on what to build for public sector data and AI.
• Turn field learning into reusable assets and enablement for broader impact.
