Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Data & AI Technical Architect for Global Public Sector, focused on defense, federal, state, local, higher education, and nonprofit customers implementing Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud) and Agentforce.

You will translate mission and data ambitions into practical architectures that satisfy security, governance, and compliance needs, spanning architecture, solution engineering, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical/enterprise architecture roles.
• Experience in defense/public sector preferred.
• Strong data, AI, security knowledge.
• Ability to communicate with executives and engineers.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Share a clear point of view on data and AI for public sector missions and how the Salesforce platform delivers value.
• Deeply understand Data 360, Agentforce, and related data/AI products and articulate their value to stakeholders.
• Partner with sellers and solution teams to uncover customers' mission problems and shape technical strategy.
• Lead customer architectural discussions around Data 360, Agentforce, data structures, AI readiness, governance, and security.
• Build customer confidence through demos, prototypes, proofs of concept, and reference architectures.
• Continuously scan the horizon and refine judgement on what to build in public sector data/AI space.
• Turn field learnings into reusable assets and enablement.
