Job summary

Evolv Technology is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to build out FED/SLED and commercial contracting capabilities from the ground up at our HQ in Waltham, MA, with optional remote work two days per week.

You'll advise on government contracts, draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements, and help scale our contracting templates and compliance programs while collaborating with sales, product, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• 6+ years of legal experience, in-house or at a law firm, with FED/SLED contracting.
• Experience negotiating SaaS, hardware, subscription, and other technology commercial agreements.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic counsel on FED/SLED contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate government and commercial contracts.
• Drive compliance with FAR/DFARS and agency requirements.
• Support RFP/bid responses and contract administration.
• Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, finance, supply chain, and compliance teams.
• Develop training materials for legal and cross-functional teams.
• Evolve contracting templates, playbooks, and tools.
• Counsel on product and supply chain compliance.
