Evolv Technology seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel focused on FED/SLED contracting to build our public sector legal function from the ground up while supporting commercial deals. You will partner with sales, product, engineering, finance, and compliance to structure, negotiate, and close government and commercial agreements.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• 6+ years of legal experience with a mix of general commercial and FED/SLED contracting work.
• Experience with K-12 and higher education sector a plus.
• Experience negotiating SaaS, hardware, subscription, and other technology agreements; familiarity with CLM tools (Ironclad, Salesforce).
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, GSA Schedules, and Buy American Act compliance.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic guidance across the public sector landscape for FED/SLED contracting and related regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of government contracts and prime contracts.
• Drive compliance with FAR/DFARS and agency-specific requirements; manage RFP/bid processes.
• Counsel cross-functional teams to structure and close deals aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain contracting templates, playbooks, and tools; train teams.
