Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs in California is seeking a Senior Value Engineer focused on the public sector to lead AI-driven value realization for State and Local Government agencies. You will guide pre-sales, architect PoV projects, and ensure adoption of Celonis AI solutions across agency workflows.

The role requires deep gov process knowledge, expertise in RAG and multi-agent systems, and strong stakeholder communication. Competitive compensation and impact-driven work with public sector clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading technical pre-sales in the Public Sector (State & Local Government).
• Deep understanding of state and local government processes and challenges.
• Expertise in generative AI: RAG, multi-agent orchestration, prompt engineering.
• Proficiency with Python and ML libraries (LangChain, pandas, PyTorch).
• Strong presentation skills to officials and IT leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred; or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience building agentic systems with LLM orchestration and guardrails for public sector use.
• Experience deploying models in cloud gov environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).

• Pre- and Post-Sales Execution: drive the full government pre-sales lifecycle and post-sale guidance.
• Hackathons & Prototyping: build rapid AI prototypes addressing agency pain points.
• Agentic Process Transformation: enable autonomous AI workflows at scale for public agencies.
• Proof Projects: deliver secure, scalable LLM/agent systems with data integration and compliance.
• Domain & Industry Leadership: share Govvert best practices across Celonis teams and clients.
