BDO USA seeks a Senior Consultant for Public Housing Authority engagements to perform full-cycle accounting and light consulting for affordable housing clients. You will review workpapers, prepare financial reports, and support HUD grants and federal funding applications.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 3+ years in accounting, and supervisory exposure; CPA licensure pursued is encouraged. Strong MS Office and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; focus in Accounting preferred.
• Three (3) or more years of accounting experience, including public accounting preferred.
• Actively pursuing CPA licensure; CPA preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

Responsabilités

• Perform and oversee full-cycle general accounting and light consulting for affordable housing clients.
• Review workpapers and ensure compliance with HUD standards and client requirements.
• Lead preparation and submission of housing subsidy applications and federal funding.
• Communicate findings, support proposals, and maintain engagement documentation.
