Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; power systems focus required.
• 10+ years of experience in power system protection.
• Experience with microprocessor relays (SEL, Beckwith, GE, ABB).
• Experience with protection study software (ETAP, SKM, Aspen).
• NERC PRC compliance evaluations advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Perform protection system calculations and analysis for diverse clients.
• Develop relay settings for HV/EHV substations and transmission lines.
• Develop relay settings for generators, transformers, motors, and MV/LV protection devices.
• Assist clients in complying with NERC PRC standards.
• Conduct relaying event report analysis.
