Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; power systems focus required.
- 10+ years of experience in power system protection.
- Experience with microprocessor relays (SEL, Beckwith, GE, ABB).
- Experience with protection study software (ETAP, SKM, Aspen).
- NERC PRC compliance evaluations advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Perform protection system calculations and analysis for diverse clients.
- Develop relay settings for HV/EHV substations and transmission lines.
- Develop relay settings for generators, transformers, motors, and MV/LV protection devices.
- Assist clients in complying with NERC PRC standards.
- Conduct relaying event report analysis.
