Mesa Associates, Inc is seeking a Senior Protection Relay Engineer to lead design efforts in the utility and power generation sectors. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in protection relay systems and be capable of mentoring young engineers while managing client relationships.

This role requires expertise in power system studies and design work with power plants, including coal and hydro systems, and offers hybrid/remote work eligibility. Candidates are preferred from the Chattanooga area, with less than 15% travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience in protection relay system design.
• Design experience with coal, hydro, and combined cycle power plants.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
