Sargent & Lundy is seeking a lead electrical engineer in Houston to join the Electrical Analytical Division. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; 12+ years in power system protection.
- Experience with microprocessor-based relays and electro-mechanical relays.
- Experience with protection software ETAP, SKM, Aspen and relay software such as SEL AcSELerator, GE Enervista.
- NERC PRC compliance experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform protection system calculations and analysis for diverse clients.
- Develop relay settings for HV/EHV substations and transmission lines.
- Develop relay settings for generators, transformers, motors and LV/MV protection devices.
- Assist clients in complying with NERC PRC standards.
- Relaying Event Report analysis.
